Local Policing Report - April 2016

The March Performance Summary for April 2016 has been circulated by the West End Local Policing Team.

The main points of the report are:

Quality of life calls have decreased by 9 from 13 to 4
(Motor cycle annoyance -2 Drug/substance misuse - 1 and public nuisance - 1)

There was 1 reported Housebreakings, 1 reported Housebreaking from garages and 1 reported thefts from motor vehicles.  2 Vandalisms was reported.

Overall reported crimes were down by 5 on last month.

Operation Monarda is POlice Scotland's annual drive to raise awareness of doorstep cold calling.  Loads of information and advice, as well as door notices, can be downloaded by clicking here.

The local policing team are based at Whinhill and request that if any suspicious activity is seen they are contacted, either as an emergency on 999 or on the Police Scotland Service Centre at 101.
