Little Big Lunch - Funding available

Last year the Community Council were in the process of arranging a community picnic event under the auspices of the Eden Project’s “Big Lunch” initiative.

Thanks to COVID-19 we were not able to progress. The budget we had set for organising the event has been rolled over into this financial year, but with the restrictions on mass gatherings looking as if they will not be lifted any time soon, we have decided to make the “Big Lunch” budget available for Little Big Lunch projects. 

Once the restrictions allow, if you and your neighbours want to organise a local or street “Little Big Lunch” where you can meet socially and re-connect with your neighbours then we would be happy to help with a donation to your festivities. Obviously there will be one or two conditions, for example, you must be able to demonstrate that the event is open to the neighbourhood and not just a family bash!
