Braeside Terrace - Little Big Lunch

Back in May the Community Council, in support of the Eden Project's "Big Lunch" initiative, offered to provide some financial support to any street in the area that wished to organise a, COVID compliant, street "Lunch" Event.

Braeside Terrace took us up on the offer and, on the 6th of June, held a street long "Little Big Lunch".

The event was a huge success with almost  everyone in the Terrace taking part.  Entertainment included a local magician, an adventure trail along the pavements for the children and active adults, music provided by a local DJ, a fantastic range of food from home bakes to Italian delights, a local barista coffee van, fun science experiment demonstration, limbo dancing and more.  Everyone from young children to the oldest residents in the street had a great time together.

The Community Council want to congratulate all the organisers on their effort in bringing such a fun day to their community in Braeside Terrace.
