A ROWIE FUR BREAKFAST

There’s a rowie for ma breakfast
I have it wi’ a cup o’ tea
Wi’ butter and wi’ marmalade
That sounds real good to me

I am nae a fan o’ porridge
Or cereal or a fry
I’d hae a rowie for ma breakfast
Until the day I die

A lot o’ people prefer toast
And some prefer a scone
The only thing that beats a rowie
Is when you have your second one
