Great Western Road - bus diversion

Great Western Road has been closed in both directions between Craigton Road and Morningside Road, along with the footpath on the south side of the road.

This is due to the gable end of a building in Great Western Road, which is in danger of collapse.

It is anticipated that the closure will remain in place into next week until the building has been made safe to allow the road to reopen.

All the bus stops on Great Western Road between Anderson Dve and Springfield Rd are currently not usable, as the 19 and 201 buses are being diverted.  

City bound buses are being diverted from North Deeside Road, left at Springfield Rd, right on to Seafield Rd, right on to Anderson Dve and then left on to Gt Western Rd. Culter bound buses will follow the reverse direction.
